Due to its thixotropic properties, NATIONAL® Standard Bentonite and NATIONAL® Premium Bentonite function as a thickening and/or suspension agent in water based coatings and asphalt emulsified coatings.  Its' adsorption properties enhance the stability and rheological properties of the finished product.
